Background
The Hanashi project started back in 2008 and is one of many exciting conceptual projects
from Sony Ericsson Research.
Sony Ericsson are leaders in Communication Entertainment Experience and Hanashi is a
perfect example of this.
Hanashi allows you and your friends to easily connect with each other using your mobile
phones. It's based on innovative technology where one of the advantages is that you don't
have to register a user name and e-mail address. Another great thing is that you don't
have to be online in order to receive messages, something you normally have to be with
other chat clients. You can say that Hanashi combines the best of your regular phone with
the best of a chat client, and offers some unique features on top of that. And it doesn't
matter if you have an old and/or simple phone or if you have the latest and greatest. Your
way of communicating will change.
For us, the main reason for doing this particular concept is to truly explore the new exciting
ways of communicating. Normally we are super secret with our concepts but Hanashi is
special in the sense that it's public for you and everyone else to enjoy.
Did you know?
That Hanashi is Japanese and means "Talk" and/or "Story". We feel that both translations
work perfectly for our application; it allows people all over the world to talk/chat with each
other but also so much more. When updating your status and letting everyone know where
you are, you are in fact telling a story. Your story.
So what are you waiting for, download Hanashi now, connect with all your friends and...
tell your story.
